August was full of blessings for me but I can’t avoid the stress that comes along with it. And because of stress (and probably lack of sleep + hormones + pollution and all), breakouts developed on my forehead. I had a mini panic because I don’t have a spare acne treatment kit! But then, I shouldn’t as it will cause even more stress.
Good thing, I found my Perfect Skin Acne products from Sophie Paris I got few months ago. It comes with a Foaming Cleanser, Prevent Spot Cream, Night Treatment, and an Acne Gel.
The Foaming Cleanser clears pores, removes oil, and clarifies skin. Active ingredients are Salicylic Acid and Tea Tree Oil. I am currently addicted to any product that has salicylic acid. It smells so fresh and leaves skin smooth and oil-free. This 200ml bottle is only P180.00

Prevent Spot Daily Control is an anti-spot moisturizer with Salicylic Acid and Tee Tree Oil. It controls oil and prevent the appearance of imperfections. I use this morning and evening after washing my face. It has a minty scent (from Tea Tree Oil) which I really love. The 50ml tube is only Php 135.00. The only thing that I don’t like in this product is the Paraben content.

Last is the Acne Gel – my favorite! It’s actually water-ish that dries up pimples and clear acne. Active ingredients are Salicylic Acid and Triclosan. It heals pimples as fast as 3 days. Actually, depending on the condition of the pimple so you have to apply it early before it becomes cystic. I do apply it generously around 3-4x a day just to make sure the pimples won’t grow up. Pretty good for only Php 100.00

I am using these products for two straight weeks now and the pimples are starting to say goodbye one by one! I’m glad that this product line works for me. The product line also has a Peel Off Mask for only Php 130. I would have used that too given a chance. How about you? What products do you use to treat or prevent acne?
