Glycopeel at Beverly Hills 6750

Recently, I have noticed that my skin becoming dry even more. Probably because of the weather and the acne treatment products I am currently using. So when Beverly Hills 6750 invited me to try their services for their 7th anniversary this month, I immediately said yes!

Beverly Hills 6750, a multi-specialty aesthetic institute is one of Asia’s premiere centers dedicated to excellence in aesthetic services and positive transformation in our patients’ lives. Their services include aesthetic plastic surgery, aesthetic dermatology, cosmetic dentistry, cosmetic gynecology, weight loss management and weight loss surgery, and varicose veins treatments. They currently have two branches  – one at Rockwell and at Timog but I chose the latter since it is more accessible from my place.

You won’t miss their branch along Timog Avenue as the clinic is big enough to see. Nearest landmark would be South Insula Condo building. As I entered the clinic, I was warmly greeted by their staff and the branch officer, Mapet Duenas, assisted me. The place was peaceful and very chic. I love the interiors!

As an anniversary treat, they offered me to try their premier beauty services: PermaSilk-SR, Glow Peel, Madonna Lift, Skin Tightening, Detox, or Fraxel. I chose Skin Tightening but during consultation, Dra. Elieza dela Cerna, MD advised me to have European Facial treatment + Glycopeel instead as it is more appropriate for my skin problem. I know Glycopeel is a safe and effective glycolic peel for acne, scarred and ageing skin so I agreed, and besides, I am still young to undergo Skin Tightening procedure.

While waiting, Mapet toured me around to see their rooms for different treatments.

The procedure started with the application of exfoliating enzyme scrub to slough away dead skin cells.

Then a glowfruit peel was applied and was left on my face for few minutes while steamed. A pre-glycopeel cream was also applied on my face.

After that, my derma came in and applied glycolic acid on my skin. At first it was really itchy then it felt stingy for a while. It was moderately uncomfortable for a few minutes. After washing off the peel, my skin felt instantly clean but some areas turned pinkish red. This procedure involves pricking but worry not as the derma was really gentle in taking out whiteheads and pimples. No pain at all.

After the whole process, I was advised not to use any acne treating products for 3 days and use sunblock gel during daytime and avoid sun exposure as much as possible. Over the next couple of days, I noticed my skin is smoother and dark spots are less visible. It delivered fast results as expected. πŸ™‚

With continuous treatment every 2 weeks, I am expecting to see softer skin, less pimples and dark spots! Thank you so much Beverly Hills 6750 for this treatment. Happy 7th anniversary!
