There are a lot of things to work on and because of that I tend to forget my beauty regimen. :c I’m still glad though, with the help of Proactiv and Dermclinic products, I am able to control and prevent my acne. However, my pores are getting more and more visible and they now look like strawberry seeds to me!
So there, I looked for a product that can somehow tighten or make these pores less visible and I found this. Holika Holika Strawberry Pore Cover Sealer!
With its cute, sweet-looking packaging, I immediately grabbed the item!
According to Holika Holika, this is a magical camouflage for strawberry-like pores especially in the most oily part on the face. The Pore Cover Sealer does double duty as it covers pores and eliminates shine of the T-zone and cheeks with its sebum control powder content.
It’s about 10ml of a light yellow cream in a small 3-inches tube. Yes, it is that small but a little goes a long way with this product. It has a thick creamy/gel combo consistency that feels light on skin. The smell is not the strawberry/fruity one that I was expecting but it has a mild fresh scent which is good for men and women.
How to use: Apply a pea-sized amount of cream on T-zone area and cheeks before foundation.
The cream controls oil really well for about 5-6 hours. It makes skin look smoother (photo below) however the cream doesn’t perfectly conceal the pores. It can act as a good primer though as it makes skin smoother and prepped for makeup. Pores on my cheeks are the most prominent so I tried the product on that area first. Here’s the before and after look:
