Revlon Photoready Bronzer in Bronzed & Chic

It has been a toxic week filled with meetings and events and now I am back to share a new makeup review. I was on the look for a product that will help me contour my face and will stay all day so I won’t need to reapply during the day. I have combination/oily skin and I found that my other bronzer would smudge off and vanish after a few hours.
So, I’ve decided to try a new product – Revlon Photoready Bronzer in Bronzed & Chic.
The first thing I have noticed when I saw this product is the size of the packaging. For me, this case will occupy too much space in my makeup kit so it’s something that I would just leave in my room after use. That means, this product should stay long as I won’t be able to do a retouch in the middle of the day!

Seriously, I don’t even use the brush that comes with it. I think it’s not full enough to give you a blended look and I prefer using a natural bristle hair brush.

Php 975.00

The bronzer has this coral design which somehow reminds me that summer is about to come. I actually love it. It has 4 matte shades from light to dark brown, highly pigmented, and has a smooth texture which allows me to use it for contouring. With a makeup brush, you can apply this as a contour under the cheekbones, on the sides of your nose, and forehead.
I’ve noticed that this bronzer has more hint of red (which is not really for my yellowish skintone) but not bad at all as you you can blend the shades all together to get the color that you want to achieve.
Without this bronzer, I look dull and flat like this:
I looked like a little girl! So what I do, I just swirl a makeup brush into this powder, tap of excess, and blend it evenly on my face.

Another thing, it has a light champoy scent. Lol. It’s actually similar to LUSH but it’s the usual smell of a makeup. It’s hardly noticeable, unless you sniff the brush or the powder itself, but I know there are cosmetics which doesn’t smell at all.
But I am actually impressed as it stayed on until the end of my day! That means I can leave this product at home and roam everywhere with contoured face.
What I like about this product:
Totally Matte!
Affordable
Buildable/Blendable
Smooth formulation
Long lasting
What I don’t like:
Packaging & Brush
Light makeup smell
Still, this product is great and very affordable for a matte bronzer. I think it’s a great deal! You get 4 shades of bronzers for the price of one. It’s something that I would prefer than expensive bronzers that would do the same thing. Have you already tried this product? I’d love to hear what you think about this bronzer.
