As promised, here’s my review about Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 045 Romantic shade.
From Revlon: Itβs a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lipstain in an adorable chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour. The gel formula comes in 10 vibrant shades that match any look or mood.
Lightweight Lip stain + Moisturizing Balm.
100% of women who tried it felt their lips were instantly moisturized with a soft stain of color.
Retractable chubby crayon, no sharpener required.
Php 575.00
The packaging really looks like a jumbo crayon which makes it easy to use. This balm stain is also retractable hence, there is no sharpening required.
It has a smooth texture similar to a lip balm and sheer color which can be layered to get a more intense color. You can lightly dab the product on your lips for a stained natural look or apply around 8 to 10 layers for heavy coverage.
It is highly pigmented and long lasting. I tried around 6 layers of this product and it lasted for about 5 hours! Unlike regular lip stains that dry lips, this balm stain gives a glossy moisturized effect and leaves a soft stain on lips as it fades.
However, since this product contains staining pigments, it gets into the lip lines/cracks if lips are chapped and dry. So make sure that your lips are moisturized and exfoliated for applying this product. This product is more of a stain than a lip balm but I like the fact that they combined those two together.
Another thing that I like about this is the mild mint scent. You can actually feel it upon application and fades after a few minutes.
Romantic is a warm red orange shade that gives a pop of color to lips and it suits my yellow skin tone too. This shade is also good for the upcoming hot summer days.
What I like about this product:
Smooth texture
Buidable color
Does not dry lips
What I dont like about this product:
Not for dry chapped lips
For me, Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is a great product. I think I should buy another shade of this. Probably Cherish or Smitten? What do you think? Oh btw, the matte balms are now available here in the Philippines! I’ve already tested it and would love to purchase 2-3 shades of those as well and compare the difference. π
