Oakwood’s lobby is nothing grand really if you compare it to 5-star hotels but the rooms are all worth it. Modern, spacious, and well-furnished.
Just look at this dining and living room area. There’s a round table good for four, comfy sofa and lounge chair, and an LCD TV in front of it. Beside the TV is a desk and a comfy chair which serves as my “working station” for a few days.
Living Room
Can’t avoid work because they offer free wifi to guests. Did I mention work includes Facetime, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram? Haha!
Love the kitchen bar counter as you can watch TV from the living room while cooking. It is also well-equipped with electric stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, oven, dishwasher, and other kitchen utensils.

On side closets near the kitchen, you’ll find the secret washing machine! Hello Mr. Washing Machine, wachududer?
A queen sized bed greeted us in the bedroom and another LCD TV with dvd player in front of the bed. This is life! It made me dive into the bed instantly!

Another working station and a lounge chair. To work or not to work? Haha. On one side of this room is a mirrored closet lane and a door to the bathroom.
My most favorite part! A bathtub with a TV set! I spent the wee hours here in the bathtub while watching TV. This is perfect as I was avoiding Oakwood’s a-bit-crowded indoor pool area.

There’s also a separate shower closet with sauna, sink combo, complete with bathroom supplies. On the side, is a glass wall overlooking the busy city of Ortigas.
