When I was in college, I completely neglected my looks especially my hair probably because of never ending plates and sleepless nights. That’s how it was but now that I am more conscious of myself, I make sure that I always treat my hair nicely despite the damaging hairstyling tools that I have to deal with here and there.
Being a blogger helped me to pamper my hair with different hair products that I try each day. With that, I learned how to treat my hair like a princess little by little. As I am in the process of restoring my hair’s health and beauty, a blessing came my way. I was chosen to become one of Matrix’s Brand Ambassadors! Last month, we had a video and photoshoot for the campaign and together with fellow ambassadors, we had our hair colored. For my dual color service, I chose SoColor 12.5 Chocolate Super Light Blonde as base and SoColor red for my highlights.
To keep my hair healthy and beautiful, I am following an excellent hair care routine from Matrix too! For my color-treated hair, I use Matrix Biolage Color Care Shampoo with low ph followed by Matrix Biolage Color Care Conditioner. Once rinsed and dry, I apply a few drops of Matrix Biolage Exquisite Oil and alternate it with Matrix Biolage Deep Smoothing Serum.
The Exquisite Oil is a replenishing serum treatment infused with Morinaga, Macadamia, and Argan Oils. It gives hair instant sheen, nourishment, and control.
The Deep Smoothing Serum on the other hand, infuses hair with weightless smoothness, leaving it frizz-free and easy to control while keeping it natural to the touch.
Every Sunday, I use Matrix Biolage Color Bloom Masque for 360 degrees conditioning and leave it on my hair for an hour (hahaha yes! 1 hour!) before rinsing. It is enriched with Orchid extract + UV Filter Complex that helps preserve and protect the radiance of my color-treated hair.
Sounds difficult to follow everyday? Well not really! I’d rather do this than dealing with exasperating hair problems. And more than that, I am VERY SATISFIED with the result! I mean, look at my hair before I used these products…
