What’s on my table? These are from L’oreal’s Lucent Magique Collection and I am using them for months now. I just realized I haven’t blogged about them until now. I guess it’s the perfect time to write a review now that the weather is extremely hot and we’re all looking for a foundation with lightweight formula.
L’oreal Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Foundation
The matte gloss packaging makes it look like a high-end foundation but it’s actually very affordable at Php 845.
It has a gorgeous glass bottle. Drop it and it will easily break into pieces. On the other hand, it’s pump gives out the right amount of product all the time.
The shade that I have is G4 Gold Shell. It gives an amazing glow and radiant finish on skin. I usually skip moisturizer when I use this because the product alone is moisturizing enough for me.
It has a watery texture however, its light formula gives minimal coverage. The good thing? It allows skin to breathe. And it never feels greasy! You can apply more product on skin to give medium coverage but I haven’t tried it, honestly. If I want medium coverage, I will buy a medium coverage foundation.
Oh btw, this product also has SPF 24 PA++. It may not be enough this summer but it’s better than nothing. Set it with powder foundation and you’re good to go. I noticed that after 5 hours my skin gets a bit oily especially on my T-zone area. Blotting isn’t a problem for me, so that’s totally fine. Also, if you don’t wear a good primer, it has a tendency to slide off easily.
If you have dry to normal skin, this would work better on you!
Now, let’s try L’oreal Lucent Magique Liquid Light Touch Up Pen.
It’s a multipurpose pen that serves as a concealer and highlighter in one. And because I have very dark under eye circles, I used a different product to cover it. For blemishes, dark and red spots, this product will work well.
To dispense the concealer, twist the upper cap in a counter clockwise direction. For newly opened product, you may need to turn it a few times before the concealer comes out from the brush.
Again, this one has a light texture and because of the shade that I got (Light), I prefer using this as a highlighter. It can be used on your nose, cheek and brow bones.
It dries up really fast so be sure to blend right away soon as you apply it on your face. This pen costs Php 545.
After using these two, I achieved a flawless and luminous healthy looking glow on my skin! I love how my skin looks like with this foundation and highlighter on.
With this combo, my skin looks great on photos. Will I buy again? I’d probably get another bottle of foundation after I finish this one. Have you tried these products? Share your thoughts below. 🙂
