Etude Princess Run 2014

Thin sister and I joined the first marathon in our lives – it’s Etude Princess Run at Bonifacio Global City. Everyone who supported this fun event made an important contribution to One Chair One Child campaign of YesPinoy and Lifeline Foundation that aims to raise funds to buy school chairs for 3,000 student survivors of Typhoon Yolanda, who go to Estancia Central Elementary School in Northern Iloilo. 

Call time was 5am *yaawwnn*
Cosplayers and celebrities like Dingdong Dantes also joined the race. I also spotted runners in tutus and little kids enjoying the event with their moms as well!

Reunited with Betsy. This girl now has a partner, Pierre!
I did more walking and selfie-ing than running at first and then slowly worked my way up. We both finished 3k in 29 minutes. Not bad for first timers, right?

All finishers received finisher’s cup and medals after the race. We also got our passports to the Pink Fair! We lined up at the booths to try out some games and won prizes! Some girls were lucky to get a bag and a pillow! Inggit!

After that, we had breakfast at Luna Specialty Coffee. My new favorite in BGC. 🙂 They offer Filipino breakfast meals and hand brewed coffee. 

This time, we ordered Smoked Bangus and Sweet Ham rice meals.
Of course, our breakfast wouldn’t be complete without Hot Cappuccino and a Leche Flan Yema shot.
Strolled a little at a mall in Ortigas, met with Eton, and had great food at Buon Giorno for lunch. Mini Burgers and Fries, a Macho Dalandan shake for him, and Insalata Salad.
     
Overall, it was a fun experience! Run and gorge lang hoho. Did you join this event as well? How was your run?

    I heard a lot about this etude fun run. I wanted to join but I can't run in long kms since my body is not too strong for that. 🙁 BTW, this looks so fun. I really love how girly it is. Cute tingnan and parang gaganahan ka tumakbo. Haha. Love it! Congrats to ur first run! Too good for 3kms in 29 mins. 🙂

    Nako, ako naman is such a weakling and I didn't even expect that I'll even reach the finish line haha. I jokingly planned a shortcut for me and my sister but we did not cheat of course too many staff guarding around haha

    Whoah! Haven't run in my entire life KC tingin ko palang eh di ko kayang tapusin haha baka ambulance ang susundo sa akin. Oh the pretty pink car is love. That Luna Coffee is owned by Cong. Cayetano ,tAma ba ako Ms. Carizza? If only I'm in Manila eh makaka join siguro ako.
