Me and Eton were so happy to see the Trance legend perform solo last May 31 at MOA Arena! I am not really a fan of trance but I happen to know Armin van Buuren because he remixed some of Ayumi Hamasaki’s songs. He’s been doing remixes for Ayu since 1999. I even livestreamed Ultra Music Festival Korea last year just to watched his part (and the small introduction to Ayu) – and now seeing him set a party here in the Philippines was such a blast!
So it all started with an egg…
And then some progressive and uplifting trance…
At this point, the people in front of us were already wild. Haha. After a couple of tracks, he finally showed up and the whole arena went wilder!
The all night dance event was sooo cool with all the lights, fireworks, and lasers playing around! Look at our weird faces under the red light.
The party was made even more exciting with the special appearances of his supporting vocalists and artists such as Sharon den Adel, Nadia Ali, Racoon, Ilse de Lange, Audrey Gallagher, Eller van Buuren.
EAT. SLEEP. RAVE. REPEAT.
The party lasted for 6 hours I think. Hahahaha that was really long! And of course, we didn’t survive ’til the end – we went home around 2am. Too bad, we missed Ping Pong! But still, we really enjoyed the party. 😀
