I started doing my brows this year to achieve the Kestner doll look. It’s a preparation for the arrival of my doll by next year. So no bangs for now until I perfect the eyebrows that I want. Now, I receive this set of Eyebrow Doctor from ELF Cosmetics and I have decided to share with you how I do my eyebrows for my everyday look.

There is actually a stencil kit included in this set but I somehow lost it in the middle of my makeup routine. I don’t use stencil anyway since I always aim for the natural look. If you would like to learn how to perfectly line your brows (ala beauty pageant, celebrity makeup, etc.) then you might need to practice with the stencil kit.
First, use a primer to smooth skin and help makeup last longer. There are two available primers at ELF Cosmetics. One is Poreless Face Primer for combi to oily skin and the other one is Mineral Infused Face Primer for sensitive to normal skin.
I used the poreless one to fill in fine lines and reduce the appearance of my enlarged pores. Now, meet my messy eyebrows!
Let’s move on to the Eyebrow Kit. It has two shades which you can mix to achieve the right shade for your brows. I am now sporting black hair so I opted for the darker shade.
Using the darker shade and the mini brush that comes with the kit, I just drew an outline on my brows. I don’t like my arches so I just did my own line with a pointed tip. Make sure to use just a little powder when you do the outline.
Then fill up your brows using the Eyebrow Lifter & Filler.
Use the dark brown shade to fill your brows and use the ivory or the light one to clean up outside the powder that are out of the line that you have previously drawn. Blend blend blend! And look, this pencil has a sharpener cap!
*Use light dab strokes to avoid overly shaded brows
Lastly, define your brows using the Eyebrow Treat & Tame. Use the “tame” eyebrow mascara on your brows to keep them in place for a fuller and more tailored look.
Use the “treat” gel to condition, repair, and restore your eyebrows. This may be used alone before you go to sleep or use it under makeup during daytime.
