Ha! I am almost done with the stick, changed my hair color and still, I haven’t shared this until now! I am currently using Etude House Play 101 Stick Contour Duo, a creamy contour retractable stick that is easy to blend to make face look thinner. It has two sides: a light base for highlighting and dark shade for contouring.
Php 748.00
I got #02 since #01 is too light for my skin.
This contour duo applies very smoothly and can be blended easily. It’s very creamy but it won’t get cakey or patchy as long as you apply just an ample amount on your skin.
How to use: Apply the highlighting color on T-zone, cheekbones, underline of your eyes and even on your Cupid’s bow (the area above your upper lip) then apply the shade color on sides of nose, sides of your forehead and below the jaw line to create a contouring effect.
Blogger Tip: Use your middle finger in blending the makeup as it tends to have lighter pressure than your index. The ring finger and pinkie are good for corners and the lightest touch.
Both sides doesn’t stay the whole day but I think this stick would be very helpful especially for beginners in contour makeup as it is very easy to use. Imagine, using crayons on your face. Very elementary, right? I just think that the dark shade is quite orange-y on my nose area and not so natural. It was okay on my chin and forehead though. The light shade, on the other hand, is perf for highlighting as it doesn’t appear too shimmery nor greasy. Just the right amount of brightness that I need on those areas. This stick is not perfect but it is travel-friendly, as in it saves space in my pouch (two shades in one stick!) and easy to use even while inside the car, so I still recommend this product.
What do you think? Would you buy it now or later?
