Exploring MaArte Fair In A Day Is Not Enough!

This year, MaArte Fair has occupied almost all the venues at The Peninsula Manila! Siamese wasn’t able to attend this last year since we were out of town so we had to catch up and see what’s new at The Pen! Let me take a moment to highlight some of our favorite snaps of scenes, brands, and people in this edition.

It was a weekend filled with lots of shopping for a cause and discovering curated selection of unique products crafted by our talented local designers and craftsmen. They have opened The Upper Lobby and The Conservatory for a more exciting hotel shopping experience.

Shopping is not complete without catching up with friends, like, when was the last time we saw each other, Liz Lanuzo? I am so happy I finally got a chance to see your creations for Nobela Jewelry. That’s “beauty” on a whole new level!

We always look forward to Oscar Mejia’s new collection of fragrances for MaArte. He is a Filipino perfumer who creates artisan fragrances that perfectly capture and celebrate the richness of our heritage. The names of his scents are deeply rooted in Filipino culture, with titles like “Tadhana,” “Kahilom,” and “Himbing.”

I’m also thrilled to see Tahanan Pottery and owner Rita Gudiño for the first time at MaArte! We frequently visit their shop in QC to discover new artists and pieces for our home.

DYK Happy Andrada is our very first client at Siamese, and we’re delighted to finally see her and her creations at MaArte. Her designs truly embody the spirit of the event – very MaArte and we love it!

I finally had the chance to snag the perfect blankets and pillow covers from La Bonne Vie—she’s officially my new favorite! We had planned to buy some inabel textiles from her last year at the HABI fair, but they sold out so quickly!

Feel in love again with another pair of shoes from Cariñosa. I shall wear them soon!

This year’s MaArte Fair was an absolute blast! The vibrant atmosphere was filled with Filipino creativity and excitement, showcasing a wonderful array of local artisans and their stunning works. From captivating crafts, fashion to new chocolate discoveries, there was something for everyone to enjoy. And I have to say that BPI’s special installment plan was very helpful! Overall, the fair was more than just a fashion or social event; it was a vibrant celebration of creativity and optimism in support of the Museum Foundation, leaving everyone feeling inspired! I can’t wait for next year’s edition!
