Vice Cosmetics just launched their Duo Finish Foundation! I am starting to love this local brand’s foundation as it is cruelty-free, paraben-free, vegan, buildable, blurring power with oil control too!
This product comes in a sleek hot pink case and has a white sponge applicator inside. It’s quite tricky to open though. The price and ingredients can be found at the back.
Ingredients: Talc, Mica Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Aqua (Water), Silica, Zinc Oxide,Octocrylene, Magnesium Stearate, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, BHT, Dimethicone, Isodecyl Neopentanoate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin. May contain (+/-): Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Yellow 6 Lake (CI 15985), Aluminum Hydroxide (CI 77002).
It comes in 8 shades – Tisay, Chesa, Kinesa, Putinamez, Shade ni Vice, Moreyna, So Pinay! and Flawlesa.
During the press launch, we had a skin test to check which shade will match our skin. I got Shade ni Vice! Too bad Meme Vice wasn’t present during the event.
It’s a two-way foundation so it can be used dry as a loose or finishing powder for dry to normal skin or wet with sponge if you have oily skin. It’s a local brand, made in China, but it is US Dermatologist tested and designed and formulated in Los Angeles, California.
Enjoyed the fancy meal on a Fornasetti plate. Thanks Trellis Manila!
It’s actually like a compact mineral powder that’s buildable from light to medium coverage. Applying too much of this powder might look cakey so make sure you apply layer by layer to avoid a cakey look.
After 6 hours of wear, I could already notice an oil build-up around my nose but a quick retouch can do the fix. It has light fragrance but not too noticeable. Considering the price and staying power, I recommend this product for everyday use! It’s also something that I would pick up in the counter in case I forget or lose my makeup kit.
Vice also released a mini lipstick set called Little Ponies! It includes 4 shades – Epchuk (a pinkish nude), Jowa Pa More (a bright reddish coral hue), Chup Chap (a blushing pink shade which is my current fave) and Havey (a warm pinkish red). You can also mix and blend the lippies to find your perfect customized shade for you.
You can get the mini set for only P395. For more info, please visit www.vicecosmetics.com

truth , ang galing noh? naexcite din ako dyan kasi bongga ng local brand na yan PLUS oil control nila sobra need sa gaya ko na oily at pawisin talaga. I guess #GandangMoreyna ako or So Pinay, pero si moreyna ang medyo akma. Tandaan ko yan Ms Carizza to avoid cakey look ❤️ Thanks sa recommendation 😊
