Work in the morning, blog in the evening. That’s my most recent routine. I make sure to set my priorities first (more often, which job pays the bill more haha) before I share my stories in my social media life.
I used to work more than 14 hours a day just to fit in a pile of work and blogging duties. While we accepted heavy projects, I was also very active in blogging, attend to event invitations and post whatever I want to share in my blog everyday. Multitasking at its finest! I also had time to take my outfit posts by then. Fulfilling yet very tiring. At one point, I said, “Is this worth it?” and then I started to realize that I was having too much fun and I had to beat distractions and temptations (because blogging means more makeup!). I had to assess the bigger picture! So I stayed focused at work and put blogging on the side.
And it was all worth it! In just six months, Eton and I just found ourselves handling bigger responsibilities, managing the studio and training the team. I know I don’t have much time for makeup reviews, outfit posts and attending events but boy, we’re on the right track. SIAMESE is the dream that I was dreaming of when I was still young.
So how come I still have a lot of entries here in this blog despite the busy schedule? I normally test my skincare and makeup products everyday but I only take the final photos for my blog on weekends. So that’s one week for beauty reviews. For outfit-of-the-day posts (a.k.a. my excuse for buying too much clothes and shoes), Eton usually take my photos only during our vacation or rest days then review the shots some other time. It eats up another day for story composition just like this entry. So as you would notice, my Personal Style posts are very rare. This entry, for example, was actually taken last September.
