Last month, I unboxed a super cool addition to our studio. It’s Marshall speaker that we purchased from Digital Walker!
The headphone that Eton had few years back was fine but now we’re packed as a team and we all need music to fuel our productivity at work so we thought of getting this unit. If I remember correctly, this is the Marshall Acton Speaker.
It might look small but the audio quality is really good and actually well-balanced. I also noticed its powerful bass!
When it come to looks, the Acton has inherited the classic Marshall look with a vintage-looking front fret, gold-coloured metal details, and iconic script logo.
Acton’s custom control 3 analogue interaction knobs allows you to fine tune it to the exact sound you desire.
Specs:
Bass and treble tone control: Yes
Bluetooth: Standard V4.0
Class D amplifier: 2X8W+1X25W
Crossover frequency: 4200Hz
3/4″ dome tweeters: 2x
Frequency range: 50-20.000Hz
Input 1 – 3,55 mm: 1x
4″ woofers: 1x
Weight: 3 kg
Size: 260 X 150 X 150MM
It has a 3.5mm input and double ended cable which remind me of the classic telephone. It didn’t give us a hard time playing great music from a vinyl player.
Who plays vinyl at work? We barely even talk on toxic hours. Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, we can play music when we are really busy. We simply use our Bluetooth-enabled devices (ipad, most of the time) and voila! We can stream music directly with no wires attached.
Now, back to work!
