Misanthropy strikes me again. From politics heating up, big sale events, family and relatives shiz, narcissist media, to dealing with people (or this specific person) at work, no wonder why my contempt kicks in. Okay, let’s make it sound better. I don’t really hate, but I just feel so much better when they are not around. Instead of ranting in detail (because sharing thoughts and feelings online is now somewhat illegal), I just turn a blind eye and pamper myself. No stress for me. I don’t want any fine line showing up on my forehead. Oh, by the way, I picked a very interesting item at Tony Moly early this month. It’s called Tony Moly Intense Care Bee Propolis Cleanser. I was really tempted to get the whole line of products from Bee Propolis but since, it’s my first time to try something with ‘bee venom’, I thought it would be better to take home one first.
Description: Gel-type foam cleanser which takes care of sensitive skin mildly with black bee propolis and bee venom component
Php 898.00
It’s quite expensive but it’s worth it! The packaging says it’s a calming care for sensitive skin containing bee venom and propolis extract. What are the benefits from these premium ingredients? Bee Venom helps with cell regeneration, anti-ageing, antibacterial, restoring youthful appearance while Black Bee Propolis is a well known antioxidant, healing, purifying, cell protective and renewal agent.
The gel is almost watery and is translucent in color. I thought it would smell something sweet like honey because the product ingredients came from a ‘bee’ (okay, kill me now but I also mentioned it in my Instagram account haha) but it actually has a lemony scent which immediately uplifts the mood.
It doesn’t lather up much, which is a good thing! It means it is working better and it is not difficult to rinse out.
What I like about this product?
Leaves skin soft and smooth
Removes light makeup
Doesn’t foam/lather too much
Fights redness and skin irritation
Controls sebum
Relaxing citrus scent
Safe for sensitive skin
What I don’t like?
Pretty expensive for a cleanser
I also noticed that it acts quickly on my pimples as well. Better than using a spot on treatment alone and that made me put this product in my HG list. My mornings are so much better with this cleanser. Now, I wanna try the whole collection! See, I almost forgot about my rant in this entry. 🙂
Have you tried using skincare products with Black Bee Propolis content? If not, you better get this one at Tony Moly today!
