I rarely go out of the house without eyeliner. It’s the most important makeup item for me. Forget lipstick, blush, but not the eyeliner. That’s how important it is for me. I’ve tried different types from different brands and I think I’ve already found the best one but it doesn’t mean I’ll stop there. I can use all the eyeliners in the world and share it here in the blog!
Last month, I received an item from Tony Moly. It’s Perfect Eyes Long Kinny Gel Pen Liner. It comes in a black box with a pretty ‘anime’ eye diecut drawing on top. Who wouldn’t want to have beautiful eyes just like that?

The product is a black sleek tube with a very fine tipped brush for easy application. As if you’re just using a ballpen!
Easy to use but I think this product lacks pigmentation. It looks watery or washed out (why called gel?) so I have to apply around 3-5 layers to make it pop out nicely. Take a look at my swatch below:

Lacks pigmentation
Lack in pigmentation doesn’t really mean that the product is bad. Some people prefer a not-so-obvious eye line and this one works that way. It actually creates a natural look!
Performance-wise, I think it is somewhat similar to Dollywink eyeliner so in case you need a cheaper substitute, grab this one instead!
