During summer, I prefer using lip balms and tints than the usual lipstick as creamy lipsticks make me feel uncomfortable. Just low maintenance makeup to avoid melting lipsticks, caked foundation and smudged everything.I’m sure you know what I mean. And yes, sometimes, BB cream and lip balm will do. I just want light coverage for my face and a soft tinted lips while I am under the sun.
Today, I am going to share my quick fix to get soft pink lips naturally.
Tony Moly Magic Lip Tint Delight!
Php 228.00
The shade that I got from Tony Moly is 03 Red Berry. It comes in a small potted packaging which is so easy to place inside a makeup bag. The container is made of clear plastic so it’s easy to see how much product is left inside the pot. However, hygiene is a problem especially that I have to dab with my finger on the pot to get the product. Sometimes, I use a cotton swab (it’s easy to dispose and I am that lazy to wash brushes) but when I am out, I have no choice but to use my pinky.
This product has a light berry scent but has no flavor. In my opinion, it’s a lip balm and tint in one. It works like magic! It gives a soft glossy sheen and a nice hint of red on lips. It’s fairly pigmented as well and one swipe is good enough to make lips look soft and red. A little goes a long way so this pot will probably last you for months even with everyday use.
I don’t put too much lip tint on my lips to avoid the “lechon” look but even if I try to put too much on my lips, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable or sticky at all.
As for its staying power, I am impressed that it doesn’t wear off easily but since I have very dry lips, I have to reapply around 3x a day to avoid chapped lips.
What I like:
Lip balm and tint in one
Moisturizing
Not sticky
Good color payoff
What I don’t like:
Pot container
