Secret – A Simple Way to be More Confident

For the vast majority of my life, especially from elementary to high school, I didn’t believe I could do most of the things I wanted to do. I was afraid of embarrassment and most of the time, I feared of messing up. I grew up with no guidance from my parents nor my brothers nor sisters. I walked on my path on my own with no one to encourage me but I’m glad I’ve already conquered most of my fears. But hey, I’m old enough to make decisions now and with all the things I have accomplished, I can say that I now trust myself and I am more confident now. How about you? Have you ever been unsure of yourself or had a feeling of wanting to do something but felt terrified to start? 1. Know your strength and weaknesses
“As you learn who you are, you gain confidence in your strengths and also learn your weaknesses.”
I’m sure, everyone is good at some things and not so good at others. List down the things you do well and use it as your main weapon then list down your weaknesses and improve where there’s room to grow. Do not fear criticisms. Instead, thank those people and take it as an opportunity to improve. By this, you’ll develop both confidence and fulfillment simultaneously.

2. Practice
Because practice can make you better! Take this blog for example. I was no good with writing skills. All I knew was designing stuff, wearing clothes I love and taking interesting photos. You’d notice that with my past blog entries. Now that I have more than 1000 posts here, I am confident to say that I have improve my writing skills and I am able to express myself better. Thanks to all your comments and suggestions! It helped me a lot!
3. Take risks.
You wouldn’t know what you are capable of doing when you don’t take risks and try something new. Don’t be afraid to fall as it will allow you to learn new things and discover a new way out of your mistakes.
4. Improve your Appearance
One easy way is makeup. I’m sure you can relate but don’t forget about personal hygiene as well. Shower daily, brush and floss your teeth, and use an anti-antiperspirant to stay fearless and fresh everyday. Sweating is a no-no to a more confident you so use Secret which has 48-hour protection that outlasts your day!

And the last tip, of course, is Smile! Smiling affects our emotions and therefore raises our confidence. So remember these tips all the time and don’t forget to smile!
