In my previous post, I reviewed a gelquid liner which is quite amazing since it’s considered as a 3 in 1 product. However, the sparkly texture didn’t impress me. So in search for a replacement, I recently opened a new product which I think will serve me well in my out of the country trip.

The product description is so promising! Heroine Make is actually one of my favorite makeup brand. I used to hoard this in Hong Kong and I didn’t have any idea back then how it is called because most of the characters written on it are in Japanese. And now, I am so glad that Heroine Make is already in the Philippines. Love the kawaii packaging and their BB Cream! I’ll blog about it soon! Going back to the product packaging, the anime character is absolutely kawaii and attractive even if she’s crying. Lol.
Drama Queen
Now let’s move on to the brush. It’s 100% elastic fine brush. Its thin firm tip is quite long but very easy to control. You can easily draw a winged eye without any trouble and to be honest, it’s one of the most precise liquid eyeliners I have ever used. I’ve read some reviews that they’re having a hard time with this kind of brush but I don’t know. Must be some skills from my college degree. Haha.
The color is Ultra Black! It is so intense that you don’t need to apply more layers. But you can still apply a second layer to fill in tiny spaces so you don’t need to tightline your eyelids anymore. It also leaves a matte finish!
The eyeliner is waterproof. I tested it and yes, it is really waterproof. I tried rubbing it hard and my hand only turned red. No smudges at all. But don’t be impressed just yet! This product is not 100% perfect especially if you have oily skin. If your eyelids tend to be oily after a couple of hours, then this product is not for you. It’ll smudge just like what happens to me every time I use this product. To minimize smudging, you need a good eye makeup primer and set the makeup with powder from time to time.

What I don’t like about this product?
Not good for oily eyelids. My skin produces a natural oil makeup remover (╯°□°）╯
Takes a while to dry
Still a great eyeliner, though. I used this in Korea where the weather is really cold so my skin didn’t get too oily unlike when I am here in the Philippines. Love how black the eyeliner is. It makes my eyes big without extra effort. One layer of this eyeliner makes a big difference compared to other eyeliners I have tried wherein I needed to swipe the brush a couple of times before I get the ultra black coverage that I want.
