Last August 30, I went to Heroine Make Event in SM Beauty MOA. It’s one of the most popular brands in Japan and seeing this here in the Philippines made me really happy! No need to order from Japan or hoard in Hong Kong. Yay!
Heroine Make has been turning women into princesses since 2005, when it launched a revolutionary range of eye makeup in Japan. Since gyaru style makeup is BIG in Japan (reminds me of the rise of my jpop queen idol Ayumi Hamasaki), many Japanese girls fell in love with this brand quickly. Now, as Heroine Make gains popularity across Asia, it’s turning its wide manga eyes towards the Philippines by bringing top of the line products to the shores of Manila and beyond!
Here’s the host of the event, Liz Lanuzo and Japanese makeup artist Sayuri Igarashi as they share the wonders of Heroine Make cosmetics.
Heroine Make is an affordable brand with basic makeup essentials such as a BB Creams, Setting Powder, Eyeliners, Mascaras, and Makeup Removers. Heard that their mascaras and eyeliners are bestsellers!
Miss Sayuri is truly an expert in Japanese makeup look. I want to master it too! She remembered me easily as I mentioned that I’m a big fan of Ayumi Hamasaki. 🙂
She also demonstrated how to do a natural makeup as well during the event. Could you believe that this makeup demo was done is less than 20 minutes? That includes explaining the products and application!
First, she applied a thin layer of BB Cream on the model’s skin. Say hello to Beauty by Tellie!
She then applied eyeliner on her upper eyelids to make her eyes pop more. I love their eyeliners especially the pen type! Super fine and easy to control too!
I am also amazed with their Long and Curl Mascara! It gives a gyaru look with just a few strokes! I am so impressed!
And it’s done!
Kawaii look in an instant! After the demo, we were able to try the products, of course. I LOVE EVERYTHING from packaging to its quality. I can’t wait to show you guys how I used the products for my own makeup style. Review of Heroine Make here in my blog soon!
