Burberry Body Perfume. A thing of beauty, indeed.
Burberry Body is a warm and feminine fragrance enriched with an eclectic combination of sensual ingredients. The fragrance has top notes of fresh green absinthe, illuminating elegant peach and refined freesia, whilst woody cashmeran, creamy vanilla, sensual amber and musk compose the base. At first spritz, the floral scent felt quite heavy but calms eventually to a warm and sweet floral mix of rose and iris notes that is not too over powering and will complement the wearer rather than overpower them.
The bottle comes in a slick, long design that is different from many others on the market and has Burberry’s signature check printed on the inside of lid. The 85ml bottle stands around 21cm/8.5″.
The scent wears forever. I can still smell it on my skin the morning after applying it. Perfect for this bed weather that we have today!
Burberry Body has amazing tenacity for such a close-to-the-skin scent, and it transforms beautifully over an hour. It may not be revolutionary, but it’s still a really lovely “body” scent!
It is everything Burberry promised me: warm, sensual, luxurious.
