BeautyBook.ph Launch at Sala Bistro

The modern Filipina’s beauty bible is finally here – Beautybook! I was invited to their launch at Sala Bistro last May 06, 2013. Beautybook is an online beauty portal that covers the A-Z of beauty, from beauty essentials to edgy high fashion trends for the modern Filipina woman. It serves as an easy-access virtual guide that allows Filipinas to navigate through what the current beauty industry has to offer, helping Filipinas of all ages discover new beauty regimens, tips and tricks, and secrets to make their own.
Different bloggers from beauty and fashion niches attended the event. It was sooo nice to see new and old faces. I got a chance to have a small beauty chat with Say Tioco Artillero, a little reunion with the White’s Hot girls Shen Jarlega and Bianca Sing, small chat with Helga Weber and got project updates from Liz Lanuzo – which made me really excited!
Going back, Beautybook is divided into four different categories. The Hair Story: All About Hair is where one can get tips on hair care, hairstyle guides and know about the latest hair trends. Here’s Ning, showing a simple trick on how to curl hair naturally.
Skin Ever After: All About Skin has everything that you need to know about proper skincare and skin solutions to maintain healthy looking skin all year round.
Magic Glam: Fashion & Make Up is one’s source for fashion & makeup trends, must-have products that suits the Filipina skin, and step-by-step guides to achieve the latest looks. Here, Ning showed us the Natural / Barely There Makeup Look with blogger Phya.
Lastly, The Royal Treatment: Beauty Deals lists beauty bargains within every woman’s reach.
Beautybook is also a place where the voice of influential personalities from the beauty and fashion industry can be heard. This summer, they have invited top bloggers like Kryz Uy, Helga Weber, Verniece Enciso, and Shai Lagarde to impart fashion forward style insights and beauty wisdom in every article.
Its wide variety of beauty brands, from affordable to high end, can fit any Filipina’s budget. Look at the products they gave for us to try:

From the growing list of must-try key looks and must-have products, it’ll definitely be a new website that every Filipina will enjoy!
