A day at Au Mauricio x Glamourbox Workshop

I am a beauty enthusiast but I will never call myself a pro when it comes to makeup. I never learned the proper way of applying this and that on my face. Good thing, Glamourbox invited me to a personal makeup workshop with US-trained makeup artist, Au Mauricio. So last Saturday, off to Bottega Studio I went!
When I arrived at the venue, the first thing that caught my attention was the makeup haven! How I wish all these are mine. Hehe.
This is how I look everyday I go out… let’s see if I can do better later. 😉
The workshop started with a quick introduction and makeup briefing. Au tackled the basics that we need to learn about makeup.
First, Au showed a good trick on applying concealer and the proper shades to use.
Then, everyone was tasked to apply foundation. She said that we need to invest in a good quality foundation then the rest could be of any brand.
After that, we moved to Brow 101. She taught the right shades to apply and the right brushes to use for brows.

Then, Au taught us how to apply eyeshadow and what shades are good for Day Time Look.

Next is transforming Daytime to Night Time Look by adding more dark eyeshadow and eyeliner to our eyes.

    i like playing around with makeup, creating different looks. Or, using bronzer to create a nice, fake tan. but, currently, my nails suck. i need to do my nails. i keep forgetting.

    Wow! Will they hold more makeup classes? I tried enrolling in HD Makeup Studiol (hdmakeupacademy.com) but it was the WORST experience ever. For a beginner class, they won't even lend you the makeup or tools. I hope this is a bit cheaper because we already lost P7200 from HD Makeup Studio Looking around your blog for more beginner tips!

    You may not win, but it’s okay! Bagay sayo ang long straight hair. I wish that make ups are mine also, but that was just an imagination haha! I am not a pro also when it comes to applying make up but lately, I discover how to shape my brows, wanna see it? hihi. Supper happy ako kasi marunong an ako magkilay at unlike before na walang shape ang kilay ako at hindi pa pantay (looks like bebang! eeww! Because KILAY IS LIFE! Now, I am proud of my kilay and I am working on it to make it thicker kasi pag walang eyebrow liner ay manipis siya, parang si MONALISA uurgh!
