I’ve been hearing a lot of raves about Nyx cosmetics. Before, I only had a Nyx lipstick and lip tint and I couldn’t understand the hype it gets online. So I bought a few more and will review it one by one. Let’s see how they work:
It’s the newly improved concealer from Nyx. It’s a moisture-rich concealer that covers discoloration, dark circles and blemishes. Applied with the use of a concealer brush.
For a raccoon eyed lady like me, a concealer is a holy grail. Today, I chose to use Above & Beyond Full Coverage Concealer in Beige.

I bought this product at Php 230.00 only from The Pink Shoppe. Brilliant budget piece cause it hides my impurities well and it’s long lasting too. It provides the coverage of medium-full, blends easily, and it doesn’t feel too thick on the skin. I have an oily skin but the concealer did not fade nor melt on my face.
Next is Nyx Xtreme Lip Cream in Pinky Nude. Also from The Pink Shoppe.
Definitely, one of my favorites. It glides on my lips easily and lasts long too! It gives a very pigmented color and creamy texture.
Such a steal at Php 270.00. It smells like butter, though.

And lastly, Nyx Twin Cake Powder in CP09 NAtural Beige.
Got this product from Shop for Passion for Php 530.00.
It comes in black compact case with mirror and pad for easy application on the go. I don’t use the sponge often . I use a makeup brush since it’s easier to blend that way. Gives a good coverage, last long, and it has SPF 10 too.
With the concealer alone, it doesn’t hide my eyebags entirely unless you do it in layers and ask the help of heavy Twin Cake Foundation. Thus, giving a full coverage look and on everyday application, it won’t be good for the skin.
As for the lip cream, it can be great for photoshoots as the color pops out on your first apply. after eating dinner and long hours of talking, the color was still there. This lip cream can be very pretty but can be messy too. Expect stains everywhere. So I prefer dabbing a small amount of this product and use it as a lip tint.
