Dermclinic’s 3Face Review

Happy Skin Day! Dermclinic’s skin day is actually celebrated last month but the staff are still greeting me whenever I call. Anyway, it can be a happy skin day everyday with Dermclinic. ๐Ÿ™‚

Two weeks ago, I visited the newly renovated Dermclinic, a professional dermatological center, at SM Megamall. I actually like the new look. So chic and clean.

Excited to give my personal and honest review of their services

1st step: Deep cleansing facial. I was brought to a room where I was asked to wash my face and hands first.

The dermatologist cleansed my face, massaged, and steamed, the basic cleansing process, to prep up my skin for the 3Face session.

Next, I’ve been directed to another room for pricking and 3Face session. I’ve been to dermas who would really prick and push out pimples the hard way and I swear it was really stressful (and I won’t go back there ever!). Good thing, here in Dermclinic, they use needles to treat acne. Your skin won’t be irritated and it’s a less painful process.

After treating of acne, I was ready to try their best facial service, the 3Face! It’s the newest breakhrough in anti-aging and skin resurfacing. 3Face stands for Rejuvenate, Revitalize, and Reborn.

Phase 1: Microdermabrasion
The use of diamond sand hand piece allows for progressive and constantly-controlled exfoliation and abrasion of superficial skin – resulting in luminous, soft, smoother, and younger skin. This process is similar to diamond peel. The dermatologist avoided the areas where my pimples are so not to irritate them.
Phase 2: Collagen Renewal
The combination of a broadband light beam and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) boosts collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production, as well as cell renewal, for a fuller effect. I was not asked to wear goggles. They placed tissue on my eyes and something on top of it but I was not sure what it was (could it be goggles?). I think I needed something better than that, maybe goggles with a good band around my head to fully cover my eyes and the sides like what I see on their brochures, since the procedure was done on my face and the laser light can be very harmful to the eyes.
Phase 3: Skin Tightening
A computerized vacuum-assisted massage using a pneumatic massager with an elastrometric membrane promotes blood circulation and oxygenation, giving better nutrition and to further enhance collagen production, lifting and tightening the skin. Similar to Phase 1, but it was bigger and the tool was made of rubber. My face was well-massaged and relaxed on this process.
Rating: 9/10
Service recommended!
1. I personally like the Skin Tightening phase plus the treating of acne. Pimples on my forehead, near the hairline stopped from spreading.
2. I also told them that I got Nuderm products from their event and the dermatologist was very kind to give me instructions on how and when to use each product.
3. Aside from professional and friendly dermatologists, all tools and other facilities from Dermclinic are clean and neat.
Yes, same with Venus Raj, I also only trust the experts. In that way, you’re 100% sure that your skin is safe and well taken care of at all times. I’d be back to Dermclinic next week to try their Mesotheraphy service!
