Happy Pencils and Thousand Hugs

In support to Black Pencil Project, Team 5 of S66: A Call to Leadership course of The Ateneo Graduate School of Business is presenting “Happy Pencils and Thousand Hugs” – a pencil and toy drive that will run from October 11 to November 1, 2012.
Adobo Connection One Archer’s Place, Moonleaf Tea Shop and Jellybean as venue partners will have a space for the dropboxes where pencils and toys can be donated. All donated pencils and toys will be given to early learners (Day Care to Grade 3) of select public elementary schools from beneficiaries of remote and/or indigenous communities of the Philippines through The Black Pencil Project.
The team composed of Carlo Sumaoang, Czarine Claridad, Jess Lauchengco, Loraine Mora & Phobe De La Rosa is supporting the advocacy of their beneficiary that a pencil can make millions of ideas. “As MBA students, Education is really important to us. Along with that, we want these kids to enjoy their childhood so the pencil comes along with a toy.” said jess.
The drive will not be possible without the help of the generous partners: Click The City, Karpos Multimedia, Infinitus Multimedia, San Sue and Thread Manila. For more details, please check: http://leader5.wix.com/happypencils
For bulk donations, you may contact JESS-09178125377 or CARLO-09175441107. Like them on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/HappyPencils
