It’s more fun in the Philippines

It’s more fun in the Philippines is now trending on Twitter worldwide with different reactions from netizens. I support the Department of Tourism’s “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” campaign, especially since it sums up the true Philippine experience – the tropical heat, unique combination of fun and adventurous destinations and the remarkable hospitality of Filipinos make the difference for tourists.

Jimenez showed reporters two logos, one for its national campaign and one for its international campaign.

The slogan for the domestic market is “#1 for fun Philippines.”

The international slogan shows “It’s more fun in the Philippines.”

Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez said the campaign is simple and truthful and answers the simple question, “Why should I go to the Philippines?” DOT’s new campaign is an honest representation of the many things that the Philippines can offer the world.

The new campaign was conceived with the help of BBDO Guerrero | Proximity Philippines, but Jimenez was quick to point out: “This is not my campaign. This is not BBDO’s campaign. This is not DOT’s campaign. This campaign belongs to everybody.”

DOT also launched its new website for the campaign, http://itsmorefuninthephilippines.com/.

What do YOU think of the new DOT tagline? 🙂

"#1 for Fun in the Phils" sounds a bit weird? I dunno… maybe it's just me..I think its not that appealing…0.o
But for the international tagline:"It’s more fun in the Philippines.” I love it!! Good thing  they chose this as the international tagline(lolz)~! But aside from logo/tagline…Did they come up with a song already?Hope they did also then it would be a great combo! I hope they chose apl de ap, I think he'll be able to promote the phils well enough..=)
